With the county since 2022 as Assistant Health Director of the Population Health Division, responsible for designing and evaluating public health programs, community partnerships, public health priority data access, and the Offices of Chronic Disease Policy and Prevention, Violence Prevention, and Health Equity. As interim director she guided the county through measles and cyclosporiasis outbreaks. Public Health is one of four departments in the Health and Human Services Agency and has nearly 1,000 employees. Over 15 years in public health across local government, nonprofits and academia.
