The Charlotte Art Collective brings local artists and the community together, and this fall the group will once again offer a chance to discover and support area talent.

The Charlotte Art Collective Holiday Show returns Saturday, Nov. 14, giving shoppers a chance to meet artists, explore their work and find one-of-a-kind pieces in time for holiday gift giving.

The show is especially anticipated this year. The Collective did not hold its traditional Spring Show, and the magazine's note to readers was plain: mark your calendar for Nov. 14.

More than a show

The Collective's impact extends beyond showcasing local art. Over the years, the organization has given back by making donations to a variety of charitable causes, using its success to support organizations and needs in the greater community. It is another way the artists turn their creativity and connection into something meaningful for others.

Events like the Holiday Show give local artists an important showcase while encouraging residents to invest in creativity close to home. For attendees, it is also a chance to meet the people behind the art and learn the stories that inspire their work. The work pictured with the magazine's feature ranges from a dot-painted mandala and a painting of pink coneflowers to a ceramic plate and metal wall art.

Details

The show is Saturday, Nov. 14. Hours and the location were not printed in the magazine; for that information, visit charlotteartcollective.org.
