Highlights from the second annual Sip & Stroll.

The second annual Sip & Stroll was held on Thursday, May 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the lawn at Ballantyne Country Club, billed in the May issue as an evening of live music, local shopping and community.

It delivered on all three. Residents caught up with friends and neighbors over drinks at high-top tables on the lawn while a band played on the stone patio. Around the edges, tents and tables from local businesses and organizations gave neighbors a chance to learn more about the companies that help the community run, from senior placement and real estate to golf. There was a prize wheel. There were gift bags.

The partner tables

Residents visited with friends and neighbors while stopping by the partner tables to learn more about the local businesses and organizations that help make the community thrive. Signs readable in the magazine's two pages of photographs include Prime Senior Placement, Velocity Golf, Realtor Michelle Bellettini, a lifestyle management service and a Purium workout banner.

The organizers' thanks went two ways: to the event partners, for their time, generosity and support, and to every resident who came out to participate. The organizers called the evening a tremendous success and credited residents' enthusiasm and engagement for it.

The night was filled with good conversation, new connections and plenty of neighborhood spirit, and the magazine's write-up ends with a toast: here's to building community.

This story appears in the July 2026 issue of Stroll Providence.
