An evening about feeling well, and about knowing who to call.

On Thursday, September 3, the Stephenson Room at Ballantyne Country Club hosted Stroll Into Wellness, an evening built around well-being and neighborhood connection. The event brought residents face to face with 22 local wellness partners, from fitness and nutrition to boutique beauty, mental well-being and longevity care.

The invitation promised music, networking, light refreshments, raffles, door prizes and a cash bar, running from 6 to 8 p.m. at the club, 11120 Ballantyne Crossing. It was pitched to anyone interested in fitness, nutrition, self-care, aesthetics, mental wellness and healthy living, and to anyone who simply wanted a night out with the neighbors. The idea, as the invitation put it, was to meet local experts, learn about wellness-focused services, discover new resources and connect with neighbors and business owners in a welcoming setting.

What the room looked like

Vendor tables lined the ballroom. A violinist played beside a grand-opening sign. One table offered eye masks and IV packets under a letter board reading "free for you." Another showed clothing, handbags and shoes. Residents circulated between them, building the kind of trusted connections the evening was designed for.

The curiosity residents brought, paired with the dedication of the participating wellness partners, made the evening a success, and the momentum from the evening continues toward a healthier, more connected neighborhood future.

Here's to wellness, community and continuing to stroll into a healthier future together.

This story appears in the October 2026 issue of Stroll Providence.
