Outdoor college hockey returns to Truist Field, the Charlotte Knights' ballpark in Uptown Charlotte, for four games over two weekends in November and January.
The 704 Outdoor Faceoff, presented by the Knights and the Atlantic Coast Conference Hockey League, opens Friday, Nov. 20. The Nov. 21 game, Charlotte against Appalachian State, is a rematch from last year's Faceoff; the Knights say it is Charlotte's fifth straight year in the event.
The Nov. 20 game and both January games start at 7:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:30, the Knights say. The schedule:
- Friday, Nov. 20: South Carolina vs. Virginia Tech
- Saturday, Nov. 21: Charlotte vs. Appalachian State
- Friday, Jan. 8, 2027: North Carolina vs. Wake Forest
- Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027: NC State vs. Liberty
Tickets for all four games are on sale through the Knights.
