Justin Allgaier started 16th, watched a parade of other drivers take turns at the front, sat through 13 caution flags and three red flags, and still drove away from Atlanta with the trophy. That is more or less how his entire O'Reilly Series season has gone.

Allgaier won the Focused Health 250 at EchoPark Speedway on Saturday, holding off Carson Kvapil by 0.139 seconds in the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet. It was his sixth win of the year and the 34th O'Reilly Series victory of his career, and it stretched a championship lead that is beginning to look settled.

The race was a demolition derby dressed up as a points event. Yellow flags covered 76 of the 172 laps, nearly half the distance, and a single lap-153 pileup in turn one collected 11 cars. Allgaier stayed out of the wreckage. He climbed from the sixth row while Kvapil, Sam Mayer and a rotating cast traded the lead 19 times, won the second stage, survived a late incident that caught his own car, and was in front when the last restart settled.

Kvapil finished second, followed by Parker Retzlaff, William Sawalich and Anthony Alfredo. Kvapil, who has run near the front for much of the season, is still without a win in 2026.

The standings are where the night landed hardest. Allgaier now has 966 points, 240 clear of second-place Jesse Love and 273 ahead of Sheldon Creed, with Corey Day fourth and Kvapil fifth. A lead that size, this deep into the season and built on six wins, is the kind of margin that turns a championship race into a coronation watch for everyone else.

The Cup Series ran its own rain-delayed marathon at the track the next day, won by Ryan Blaney in overtime. The O'Reilly Series runs next at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 25.
