Phoenix Dental was founded on a goal that sounds simple and is not: a dental visit patients do not dread.

Phoenix Dental is at 10949 Old Ardrey Kell Road, Suite 202, in South Charlotte. It was founded with a vision of a modern, patient-centered practice that prioritizes comfort, trust and long-term relationships. Its dentist is Zachary Williams, DMD, MS.

From the patient chair

The dentist leading the practice is a Charlotte-area native whose path into dentistry began as a patient. Growing up in Bessemer City, North Carolina, frequent dental visits sparked a fascination with the profession and its effect on a person's confidence and quality of life. That curiosity became a calling: more than 1,000 hours shadowing healthcare professionals, then a biology degree from Western Carolina University, a master's in medical sciences from Mississippi College and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University.

After several years as an associate dentist, the dream of opening a boutique practice became Phoenix Dental, a relationship-driven office where patients get personalized care in a comfortable setting.

Built for anxious patients

What the practice says sets it apart is its commitment to patients who experience dental anxiety. Every part of the office, from the calming atmosphere to a clear, compassionate communication style, is designed to put people at ease. The team knows many people have postponed treatment because of fear or past experiences, and its mission is a different kind of visit, built on trust and understanding.

Phoenix Dental also offers comprehensive treatment under one roof, investing in technology and continuing education so patients can stay with a provider they know.

In the community

The practice supports an annual golf tournament benefiting the Special Olympics, where it ranked among the top contributors in North Carolina, and has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club and childcare centers serving underserved communities in Charlotte.

Its advice to neighbors is plain: do not delay dental care. Small issues are easier, more comfortable and more affordable to treat early. And find a provider who treats you as an individual and takes the time to understand your goals.

For Phoenix Dental, success is about more than healthy teeth. It is about helping patients overcome fear, restore confidence and feel cared for throughout the process. The office can be reached at (704) 733-9174 or smile@phoenixdentalclt.com. A paid Partner Spotlight.
